Individual training programmes have their specific objectives, and each organisation its own policies. My belief is the best results are achieved from training solutions that:

- Involve Line Management in the design of the course content, and in delivering sessions on training programmes.
- Tailor the training to your organisation’s internal processes and risk policies, using case studies that reflect your business focus.
- Evaluate participants’ progress through testing and assignments related to the training.
- Focus on “Learning by doing” – Extensive exercises, case studies, discussion and participant presentations.
- Adapt based on ongoing feedback.
- Are targetted so that course participants have broadly comparable experience.
- Are adequately prepared and material reviewed before the training.
